There is a good news for the Honda Fans. The company has equipped Amazon's top variant VX with CVT gearbox. It has been introduced in both petrol and diesel engines. Price of VX CVT petrol is Rs 8.57 lakh and VX CVT diesel has been priced at Rs 9.57 lakh (ex-showroom) CVT is available in the existing model petrol and diesel engines. The petrol variant has a 1.2 liter engine, its power is 90 PS and torque is 110 nm. The diesel variant has a 1.5 liter engine, which generates torque of power of 80 pcs and torque of 160 nm. The 7-speed CVT gearbox is provided with both engines.
The company claims that petrol CVT will provide 19 km per liter and diesel CVT 27.4 km per liter. CVT has a 7.0 inch touchscreen input system, which supports Android Auto and Apple Carplay connectivity. There are also features like steering mounted control, one touch power driver window, extra USB port and reverse parking camera. In this, cruise control will not be available, this feature company has given in VX manual.
Along with launching VX CVT, the company has also updated Amazon Sedan's standard safety feature list. All variants of the Honda Amaze have already been featured in features such as Dual Airbags, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Breakforce Distribution (EBD), Reverse Parking Sensor and ISOfCoC Child Seat Anchor. Now the company has added features such as co-passenger seat belt reminder and speed alert system in its standard feature list.
